Susan Rimmer is Managing Director and Head, Global Corporate & Investment Banking. Ms. Rimmer is responsible for all capital markets financing and advisory activities at CIBC. Ms. Rimmer is a member of the CIBC Operating Committee and the Capital Markets Executive Committee. She was appointed to the Board of Directors for CIBC Mellon on November 1, 2015.

Prior to her current role, Susan was responsible for CIBC’s Global Corporate Banking business across Canada, USA, Europe & Asia. Prior to that Susan was Managing Director & Global Head of CIBC’s Debt Capital Markets business. She joined CIBC following a 15-year career in global capital markets and investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London, UK, & Toronto, Canada.

Susan serves as Co-Chair of the annual CIBC United Way Campaign. She holds an Honors BA from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
